Simultaneous Equations

I have set THREE MyMaths tasks for all of you - you must do at least ONE by Friday 22nd January. they are quite short and it is possible to do all three within a reasonable amount of time, and this will bring you the greatest benefit, but you can choose whether to do 1,2 or 3, and which ones to do.
